Gangaji Foundation to Release Prison CD soon
Gangaji shares a simple message. This is an invitation to simply be still, to shift your allegiance from the ativities of your mind to the eternal presence of your Being. Inspired by the teachings of the Hindu sage Sri Ramana Maharshi and her teacher, Sri H.W.L. Poonja (Papaji), Gangaji travels the world speaking to seekers from all walks of life. A teacher and author, she shares her direct experience of the essential message she received from Papaji and offers it to all who want to discover a true and lasting fulfillment. Through her life and words, she powerfully articulates how it is really possible to discover the truth of who you are and to be true to that discovery.
The Gangaji Prison Program Website has more information about us, and my recent dialogue with Gangaji about the heartbreaking challenges of prison visits.
Soon we will be releasing a CD titled Questions From The Inside. Inmates from around the country, from death row to county jails, wrote Gangaji questions; I read them aloud, and Gangaji answered them with absolute compassion. They are the same questions many of us “on the outside” ask, but carry more urgency because of prison conditions. When the CD is released, we will be asking thousands of Gangaji supporters to help finance making these CDs available to any inmate, prison chaplain or volunteer who wishes to make the CD available to any inmate who wants a copy. We will also print a transcript for inmates who are not allowed to listen to CDs.
Thank you all,
Chris Mohr, Gangaji Foundation Prison Project
